Beauty Products Review

I recently went to Sephora a couple of days ago to look for a great high quality powder finish as well as a smudge proof eyeliner. I was going to get more but, sadly I didn't have much money to spend. But, anyway here is the first product I picked up.

The Tart Smooth Operator

This is what the quality of the fine finishing powder looks like its sheer white and what it does is it of course smooths out the surface of your skin. But, it also brightens up your skin and reduces fine lines. I don't have wrinkles but, when I first approached this product I had tested it out on my wrist and it made it look wrinkle free

So, I highly recommend this product for anyone who is curious about trying out something new.

The next product I picked up is a water proof liquid eyeliner
The Stila stay all day liquid eye liner.

I really like this felt tip pen because I usually draw my eyeliner a little thin from the inner corners and thicken it out at the end of the eye. It is a good eyeliner for a clean sharp finish and the cool thing about this pen is that once it dries up it won't budge it stays on all day

Well, as a for the water proof part the product surely is made for waterproof
and yes that is my saliva btw. Anyway the only bad thing about the liner is that once you wipe it off.
the liner is pretty much gone. But, I still love it though.

Lastly, this I went to Target for a new facial moisturizer and trust me there are so many different kind but, since I was a bit afraid of my skin's reaction to certain products I chose this Garnier Nurtionste morning and night gel.
Since, my skin type is oily and dry. I am extremely glad I've picked this up at Target

  • 100% Oil-free
  • won't clog pores
  • non-greasy

this is what the product looks like. I've been using it for about 2 days now and so far I've been loving it. Although it contains no SPF which is very important. But, hey the product does exactly what it promises you. Here is their results on the package.

Instantly: skin looks and feels supple and smooth, Stays hyrdated for 24 hours. (5/5)
in 1 hour: skin's moisture barrier is strengthened to prevent dryness. (5/5)
With regular use: continuously moisturized, skin is strengthened and looks healthier. (5/5)

One thing about me is I don't like the heavy feel and greasy look of certain products once applied on the face before bed time and what I love about this product is that the skin absorbs the product quickly, it's light-weight, softens the skin instantly and brightens up your face.

I definetly recommend this gel-cream for people who has the same skin type as me oily & dry. Now that the season is going to be a lot colder. This product will definetly be handy.

Tips for a Matte Face

How to get a Matte Face

We got to admit there are some good days and bad days when we wake up and put on our daily makeup.

On my good days, when my face is clear. My foundation glides smoothly over my skin. It all depends.

On my bad days I hate having to put on foundation and it looks all caked up as well as my small acne bumps are very noticeable.

Here are a few things I do to get a nice matte finish. My skin type is oily & dry but, be aware that this isn't going to work on everyone.

  • I wash my face with this parrot soap.

  • I use Vaseline to remove the extra makeup I missed. Odd right.

  • I put a thin layer of lotion over my face every night .
  • Before I go to bed I use Thailand's Topsyne cream. I use this product once or twice a week.
I put this product over the small pimple bumps on my face. Only apply a thin layer , this product can dry up the skin.

In the Morning, I wash my face with that same parrot soap and reapply a thin layer of lotion over my face to prevent from being dry.

Well, that's basically what I do to achieve a matte face.

Growing Long Hair Tips

Grow Long Hair

In order to grow long hair it really depends on how much you take care of your hair like for example:
  •  less heat when curling or
  • straightening your hair
  •  teasing your hair for volume
  •  how often you trim your hair
  •  what you eat is important
Hair is PROTEIN, the roots is important the rest is dead protein. Depending on how often you use chemicals in your hair, for example like HAIR DYE, it destroys your hair from root to ends faster.Your hair is constantly growing that's why the ends of your hair is dry and the middle section is continuously smooth.

Here are some tips to keep your hair healthy and growing.
  • Eat well balance healthy meals: Nuts, Veggies, Eggs, Meat. (fish, chicken, pork, beef etc..)
  • Drink plenty of water.
  • Exercise.
  • Wait until your hair is dry to brush.
  • Use a daily hair mask.
  • Wash your hair every other day (I know it sounds pretty gross but, natural oils from your hair keeps it fresh and healthy).

Here are some things to avoid.
  • Dying your hair very often.
  • Brushing your hair while wet.
  • Don't blow dry your hair so often.
  • Hot hair irons.

Avoid the metal

Ceramic is better for the hair

Do you ever wonder why when you dye your hair, the roots are always the lightest?
I'm sure we all know that the roots are the healthiest. Here's the point, if you dye your hair a lot; the root will always consume the newest hair chemical you use compare to the rest of the hair.
